I wrote this for a request on the sentence in a story meme this October at naruto_meme : "This is no different from two months ago, and I am disappointed." The original title was "Charmer Snake", but I think this one makes more sense.
It works as a prequel for Silly Little Dreams (a Karin-centric fic I wrote for the anything goes meme at naruto_meme in May) or, I hope, as a stand-alone.

I wrote this for a request on the sentence in a story meme this October at naruto_meme : "Yamato - He refused to succomb to the irony of being done in by Kabuto when he'd already survived years in Orochimaru's tender care as a child."
This was written quickly, and since neither Yamato nor Kabuto are one of my favorites, I'm not quite sure of my characterization. Any concrit's welcome.
