Notes:
I signed up for [livejournal.com profile] farce_friandise, but then I GOT SICK ON MY DAMN HOLIDAY WEEK. So I haven't posted anything on anyone else's candy bags, including the kind people who gave me fan-candy.
I decided that even though I'm past the deadline, I'll post things for them on my own DW/LJ.
[livejournal.com profile] babydracky, celui-là est pour toi. (Il n'est pas encré, parce que sinon, ça prendrait jusqu'à la Saint-Glinglin... >__>)
BECAUSE ANOTHER SHIPPER OF JASON/TIM IN THE FRENCH FANDOM DLKFJSLFJF THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EXISTING , I'M SO SORRY I'M LATE TT__TT
...Jason a les cheveux auburn parce que c'est plus sexy que l'orange carotte (depuis que j'ai vu un fanart de lui avec cette couleur de cheveux sur tumblr, je couine sur le concept ~).

The FNAC is, in France at least, an equivalent of Virgin megastore - a chain of stores selling books, comics, mangas, DVDs, CDs, computers and all related materials...
EXCEPT IT IS WAY FUCKING BETTER THAN VIRGIN.

For starters, the FNAC in my city does not harass or kick out people who read mangas in the store. No sir. The FNAC has class. Not only is it allowed to read in the store, not only do they have a READING CORNER with chairs and everything, THEY EVEN BOUGHT BENCHES TO PUT IN THE MANGA SECTION.
And that's why I spend, like, 80% of my money in that store. Take that all of you other bookstores with annoying salesclerks!

And every once in a while, my FNAC store has sales on DVDs. Like, really interesting ones!
Like, almost all the DVDs I actually bothered buying were on sales, or at least a FNAC "green price".

GUESS WHAT DVDs THEY HAD ON THEIR 10€ PER DVD SALE TODAY?

♥♥♥ BATMAN: UNDER THE RED HOOD ♥♥♥

ALSO THE DVDs FOR BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES.

...screw my own "no advertising" rule. I JUST LOVE MY FNAC OKAY ~ ♥    *__________*

Hey F-list!

As I might have already mentioned to some of you, I fell into a new fandom lately: the Young Justice cartoon.

And my new addiction has an awesome anon-meme ([livejournal.com profile] yj_anon_meme) with a lot of awesome prompts... some of which involve characters from other DC universe works.
It led me to the scene of Jason's death in Under the Red Hood on youtube, which led me to watching Under the Red Hood (which is even more awesome than YJ), which turned me into a rabid Jason fangirl, and then there were these prompts about the batfamily and this picspam about Damian and Colin Wilkes...

Long story short, I'm considering getting started on some comics.
Problem is, I don't know how comics work: what formats exist, how expensive they are, where to buy, which series are worth it...
So I really could use some advice here. Please, f-list?

Info dump:
I'm only buying paper copies.
I don't like old-style comic art with flat colors and all. Unless it is really slashable or has awesome character arcs, I probably won't buy it.
I'm totally okay with English versions and/or buying online with paypal.
I'm also totally okay with buying second-hand comics, in English or in French. If someone has some good addresses around Paris and can show me around, I might come and spend an afternoon or two shopping together.
As far as stories or characters go, I'm interested in everything with Jason Todd in it, the comic version of Young Justice, and the series in which Damian and Colin meet.
