I've been chatting with the infamous and awesome cassidy_b for TWO DAYS, and she's already turning my brain into a WEEEIIIIRD place.

...I DREAMT THAT WE WERE AT AN IRL MEETING OF SORTS, AND SHE WANTED A CUSTOM BOARD GAME.
SO I WAS MAKING A CUSTOM, MONOPOLY-INSPIRED POKEMON DATING GAME.

The board had places you could have dates or do romantic stuff in, and there were three types of cards (for three different types of behavior, like in a dating sim), and there were character cards, and each character had a weakness for one type of action and a resistance against another, and you threw a dice to know if the date/action had worked, and if it worked the relationship with the character progressed, AND I GUESS THE ULTIMATE GOAL WAS TO GET TO THIRD BASE.

So I'm playing with a full-water team in Pokémon HG/SS, and I've been hatching eggs to get pokémons with the good natures and EV-train them and then whipe the floor with the Elite 4's asses. I'm currently working on getting a tentacool with a special attack boosting nature and-

I JUST HATCHED A SHINY TENTACOOL EGG. AND IT'S A FEMALE ONE. 
And of course she has a shitty nature and her best stat isn't a good one but WHO CARES IT'S A MOTHER FUCKING SHINY BITCHES.

J'envisage de créer un roleplay pokemon sur LJ, basé sur le canon des jeux (à priori la série principale - BRJ, OAC, RSE, RFVF, DPP, HGSS, BN).

Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas le fonctionnement des roleplays sur LJ :
chaque joueur crée un compte LJ pour chacun de ses personnages, sur lequel il/elle poste les informations et les memes sur ce personnage, ou bien encore les délires trop crack pour être avec les posts "sérieux"
le roleplay lui-même est constitué d'une ou plusieurs communauté dans laquelle les joueurs postent des fils de roleplay avec leurs compte de personnage (soit des posts ouverts à tous, soit des posts réservés pour interagir avec un ou plusieurs autres personnage(s) en particulier,
pour roleplayer avec quelqu'un, soit vous répondez à l'un de ses posts, soit il/elle répond au vôtre.

Celui-ci se baserait sur le canon des jeux vidéos - pas de Sacha ou autres personnages de l'anime, donc.

QUESTION PRINCIPALE :
Seriez-vous intéressé(e) par un role-play sur LJ basé sur le canon des jeux vidéo (univers des jeux, personnages canon) ?

Bon, je ne vous cache pas que j'ai l'intention de l'organiser moi-même, et que donc il se peut que mes goûts personnels influent lourdement sur le résultat final. Mais comme je n'ai pas l'intention de jouer les tyrans, et qu'apparemment ces questions tenaient à coeur de pas mal de monde...
Je veux d'abord savoir ce que vous, joueurs potentiels, préférez ~
Accessoirement, le format de sondage de LJ m'a l'air un peu chiant et problématique pour certaines questions, donc je préfère que vous répondiez par un commentaire, s'il vous plaît.

So I bought a DS - second-hand, cause I'm stingy - just to get my hands on Pokemon Soul Silver and Pokemon White. I've already played Soul Silver on a ROM, but I wanted to get the real thing because I need it to exchange my pokemons with other people. And well, I was becoming curious about Black and White.

(For your information, I still think that an awful lot of the 5th generation's pokemons look like ANYTHING BUT POKEMONS. Most often they're just ugly. But then, some of them are awesome, and the 4th generation already had its lot of ugly things. So.
The gameplay is different from my old pokemon games. It's not more or less difficult overall, but the difficulties lie elsewhere. The battles are tougher, but it's easier to give your pokemons the attacks you want, for instance.
And the characterization really, REALLY got better. there are more important characters, they have more in-game personalities...
As for the plot, I suppose it's quite good, but I can't help but feel annoyed by the way Nintendo brushes off the interpretation that says pokemons are exploited. At some point Cheren "answers" to Team Plasma's ideology by saying that "humans use pokemons' abilities, and pokemons trust humans". Seriously, Nintendo? Seriously? This is like the very definition of exploitation. Pffft.)

Anyway. As you can see, I'm quite obsessed with pokemon right now. ^^U
And since I'm also craving role-play. Well.

I am so totally fangirling in my corner of poketardness and toying with the idea of naruto characters in a pokemon AU. Oh the shiney. THE GLORIOUS SHINEY-NESS OF IT. Anyone up to roleplay pokemon-trainers!team 10? IN A SHINEY "LET'S  USE POKEMONS AS WEAPONS TO KILL OTHER TRAINERS" AU?
I so want to play with INO AND A TEPIG. Flower girl would so pown everyone's ass with her piggy and her pretty sunny-day-boosted flower pokemons. And Shikamaru with a gengar. COME ON. This would bring so many troublesome shenanigans. ♥♥♥
