Also, Juugo and Karin would be cute...but also creepy because she at the very least was his prison warden for some time (though, he didn't want to leave his jail cell???) and possibly she helped experiement on him... Same for Karin/ Suigetsu, only more banter-y.

For Juugo and Karin... I hadn't thought of it that way. I don't have a very good grasp of the timeline, so I don't know if we've been told when each of them came to the Sound, and when Karin became a ward. From the fic I read about her/Hebi, I had got a headcanon of her being a guinea-pig FIRST, and then getting on the other side of the bars (most likely because of a special ability). I don't picture her cillingly deserting, and I don't think Orochimaru turned a kidnappee into a jailer right away.
Also Juugo came to Orochimaru's labs of his own free will. He wouldn't hold a grudge over the experiments the same way Suigetsu does. He doesn't seem to resent Karin for anything in canon - does he...?

That is right. Karin came some time around the same time as Sasuke did, because she was part of the Chuunin exam as her original homeland's bunch. Juugo was there much longer, possibly for as far back as her *can* remember.

I dunno, I find Karin interesting because I find her job as Prison Warden (and possibly as a mad scientist in training, though maybe that's just head canon) interesting. I mean, how'd she get it so fast? Why was she loyal to Orochimaru (until Sasuke showed up she was going to continue watching her prison indefinitely? WHat inspired such loyalty?)


Plus I love that she's the first person ever in Naruto! verseto get over a crush.... :)

No, I've never role played. Just wrote fiction, but I tend to get extensive head canon for that...

I think however young he was when he arrived at Orochimaru's place, Juugo remembers his life before he did - or at least the horrific, bloody and gore parts. (That, or it's all in his head and Orochimaru brainwashed him. Oooh, shiney plotbunny ~ ♥)

Yeah, I'd like to know how and why she ended up a warden, and loyal to Orochimaru. Though given her attitude toward Sasuke, I suspect this girl suffers from major Stockholm syndrome. Word on the "crush" part, too. >__>

Oh! I had never thought of Stockholm Syndrome. There needs to be a story expounding on this. Now, this will go into my ideas about Karin.

As for the roleplaying...I never heard about it till college and then it seemed like it would take a lot of time.

Well, it's not explicitely stated in canon, but he's supposed to have sought Orochimaru's labs as a place he could lock himself in and get his "problem" solved... Also, given his reaction after his first killing spree, it seems pretty obvious to me that he DOES have some (or more likely MANY) traumatic memories of the results of his murderous episodes. He didn't seem to be concious or remember what he did exactly, but jeez, with his strenght and mental illness, the remains of his victims would be enough to give any child a severe trauma, meh thinks.

Well, it depends on what sort of roleplay you do (roleplaying on LJ seems easier and faster than what I used to do on forums when I was younger), and on what you call "a lot of time". It also depends on how fast you write, and how much of a perfectionist you are ^^U
