Fate Stay Night / Fate Zero

ishimeSome on my f-list already know this, but I AM SICK.
It's supposed to be just a cold, except it kept me from sleeping two days, and I'm really really tired from it. Not to mention I need to breathe from time to time, and doing it from your mouth is uncomfortable.
Anyway.
I pass time by watching animes. I picked up Fate Zero - which is awesome - and once I ran out of episodes of the prequel, I went on to the first anime, Fate Stay Night.
And I'm really fucking disappointed.
First, Fate Stay Night has all its human contestants be youngsters. Of course, this means we have some high school life parts - which always bore me to death in anime not centered around it - and high school relationships between the characters, which are also terribly boring.
Second, the main character is a sexist, megalomaniac idiot.
Seriously. That guy has a magical soldier that is, like, ten thousands times more powerful like a human, but IT IS A GIRL AND I CAN'T STAND TO LET A GIRL FIGHT SO I'M GONNA FIGHT FOR HER. Even if she REALLY IS ten thousand times more competent, oh, and a fucking magical being who regenerates way more easily, and she's also a summon so she's not really alive so contrary to her retarded master SHE CAN'T DIE FOR REAL. Not to mention it's supposed to be one of the major point of the battles that humans make an easier target than their magical partners.
But no, this guy? TOTALLY WANTS TO DEFEAT THE NON HUMANS ON HIS OWN.
And did I mention he's one of those I WILL SAVE EVERYONE EVEN IF IT IS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE AND SINCE I'M THE HERO ALL THE RULES OF THE UNIVERSE WILL BEND SO I CAN DO IT EVEN IF IT IS COMPLETELY LUDICROUS characters ? I hate those characters. I have zero sympathy for them. I spend their entire show screaming at my screen for the universe to STOP BENDING ITS RULES TO MAKE THEM RIGHT and KILL THEM FOR THEIR STUPIDITY DAMNIT. But of course they're the heroes, so they're gonna be right in the end. Raaah.
But Fate Zero is interesting, so I'm gonna watch Fate Stay Night to the end anyway. Still. I REALLY HOPE SHIROU GETS PUNISHED FOR BEING SUCH A SEXIST PRETENTIOUS MORON.

I think it's either because there's no point killing characters nobody likes because dying scenes need to ~touch the readers~ and so evil writers make their doomed characters charismatic
OR
our liking a character automatically dooms them.
Je penche pour la deuxième option. Sakoni sera d'accord, je pense.
et apparemment il y a une très très ""bonne"" raison pourquoi Shirou ne meurt pas ?

Dans l'anime, la seule raison pour laquelle Shirou ne meurt pas c'est "il est le héro". POINT.
Il est d'une connerie affligeante, il refuse de faire la moindre concession au réalisme, refuse d'admettre même que ça serait du réalisme, et ne paie aucun prix pour ça (il se prend des blessures graves, okay, mais il ne réalise JAMAIS que la seule raison pour laquelle il est blessé, c'est qu'il est COMPLETEMENT CON, et qu'il devrait arrêter de se comporter comme un abruti bon sang de bon soir !). J'ai attendu pendant tout l'anime que quelqu'un lui foute une tarte et lui balance ses quatre vérités pour le remettre à sa place - EN VAIN. è__é
