Big update for my fandom list. Using tables, 'cause tables are cool.
So now there's a list for the fandoms I'll write, complete with the fandom status and my favorite characters and shippings. I added the list of fandoms I'd like to use for AUs, even though I don't feel like writing the characters. Then there's a list for my original stuff - original stories and roleplay AUs.
There might be a list for the fandoms I know and read even though I don't write them yet in the future.

Status indications for fandoms and original stuff include:
* whether I'm currently reading the fandom or not ("old fandom", "need to reread/watch", "ongoing fandom", "new/current/everlasting obsession"),
* how comfortable I feel writing this fandom ("not sure" < "why the hell not" < "hell yeah"),
* which media I've read/watched for this fandom ("anime", "manga", "games", etc),
* how far into the reading/watching I am / whether I follow the official French translation ("VF"), usually with the volumes/episodes translated.

I know, I know, this journal is deader than dead, I'm zombifying it. Who cares.

Apparently it's easier to fight my writer's block when I'm writing a prompt for someone else. So!
I may or may not have been plotting and sending chonaku to recruit people for a writing meme for a while now.
Anyway. Welcome to the jungle, folks.

THE RULES!

1. You can participate using a dreamwidth account, signing your work with a pseudonym, an e-mail or an ao3 handle, or anonymously if you wish! Dreamwidth doesn't require an account to reply to a post or to comments.

2. Post one or more prompts, ie a fic request including a fandom + a character / group of characters / ship + a sentence to inspire the fic.
Yes the fandom can be "any", yes the character(s) or ship can be "any", yes you can ask for "character X or character Y", yes same for groups or prompts.
Each prompt should begin with "Three times", as in "three times X happens/happened".
Each prompt should be posted as its own comment, replying to the original post.

3. Look at other prompts and write fics inspired by them! We call those "fills".
Fills should be posted as a reply to the comment containing the prompt you're writing for.
Put at least the title of your fill and a rating as the title of your comment when you fill. If the prompt had more than one possible character, group or ship listed, add that to the title of your comment too.
Yes you can write a fill for a prompt that already has one. Or two. Or three. If it inspires you, go for it!

4. Try to use content warnings for stuff you have reasons to think might make others uncomfortable. You can either add something like "CW: gore" in the title of your comment, or add a line at the beginning of the comment listing content warnings (make it really hard to miss - use things like capslock or bold characters please).
This applies to both prompts and fills.

5. Try to fulfill at least one request if you leave prompts. The meme needs many prompts so people have options but let's all try to keep our ratio of fills to prompts as high as we can!

6. Do not "second" prompts please. It might look to other potential writers like the prompt has already been filled and discourage them from filling it.
Do thank people for filling your prompts. If you're comment shy, just a simple "thank you!" is perfectly adequate! But let's all try not to leave a writer feeling snubbed or ignored.
Feel free to comment any fills you like or want to encourage the author of!

7. No policing people's prompts. No bullying of any kind will be tolerated. If you don't like the topic of a prompt, ignore it and move on to the stuff you like.
While people are encouraged to use content warnings, this is not a safe space. Other participants don't know you or your specific needs, they might forget or not realize that something is uncomfortable for others, and quite simply there is no objective complete list of potential squicks or triggers. Proceed at your own discretion.
This goes without saying but I'll make it clear just in case: this meme allows adult content of any kind. I will not take responsibility for any minors that chose to come here anyway, especially if they seek out content inappropriate for them.

Comment ça marche :

MA LISTE

1. La folie.
N'importe quelle maladie mentale. Plus ça implique d'images glauques ou de relations tordues, mieux c'est. Se combine très bien avec...
2. L'amoralité / l'inhumanité.
Soit les humains complètement sociopathes, ou bien nés dans une société et des circonstances complètement différentes, soit des personnages non-humains. Dans tous les cas, ceux avec une mentalité différente, une perception du monde différente et une moralité inexistante ou bien radicalement différente, voire incompatible avec la norme humaine.
3. L'acceptation des "monstres" (fous, inhumains, amoraux, ou juste un peu déviants ou marginaux).
En amitié, fraternité, ou bien en romance vanille choupi. IT HAS MONSTERS IN IT SO IT TOTALLY QUALIFIES.
4. Comportements animaux
Chez des humains, des garous, des gijinka, n'importe. Instincts de prédateurs, de territoire, de meute (comportement d'alpha, ou d'omega, tout ça), de chaleurs/rut, morsures, griffures, grognements, etc.
5. Les dystopies / AU dystopiques / interprétations les plus horribles possibles du canon.
Paaarticulièrement le fridge horror et les univers qui font conte de fée qui tourne mal/sanglant/horrible.

So a few days ago I came across a Wishlist 2011 entry, and I though it was pretty damn cool. Then I found out it was an organized event, and it was to late to sign up. Not cool.
Anyway, the idea sounds like a great way to get myself to write, and I'd like to try with short stuff this month to see if it works.

Here are the rules:

1. La folie. Points comptent double pour les trucs angst et glauques. Points comptent triple pour les personnages cliniquement dérangés qui sont acceptés/aimés tels qu'ils sont.
2. Les comportements animaux (ronronnements/grognements, morsures, griffures, marquage, mentalité de territoire, attitude d'alpha ou bien de chaton qui se frotte aux genoux, etc). Points comptent double si combiné à du pet play ou impliquant des non-humains (démons, monstres, garous, whatever).
3. Topping from the bottom (= la personne qui se fait pénétrer est aux commandes). Points comptent double si c'est une fille qui dirige un garçon.
4. Angry sex (s'envoyer en l'air en étant en colère). Points comptent double si combiné au comportement de mâle alpha ou à une relation d'amour-haine.
